Junior Mercedes-Benz Sales Executive

Michael Moore Mercedes Benz Athlone is looking for a new junior member to join our Sales team, who is bright, enthusiastic, and has a passion for cars and sales. Role responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a full knowledge of all Mercedes-Benz products, accessories, prices and services including our Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Programme, Mercedes-Me and the new Mercedes Benz EQ electric car range.
  • Assist with models’ presentation and accompany customers on test drives
  • Ensure that all inquiries are dealt with proficiently to maximise sales
  • Assist customers with finding a vehicle that best suits their needs
  • Manage all customer queries and complaints and ensure they are resolved to achieve customer and company requirements.
  • Learn our successful sales process to achieve profitable results from available sales opportunities.
  • Conduct accurate trade-in appraisals, using a systematic appraisal record, including mechanical, electrical, and all cosmetic features. Agree on trade-in values with the Sales Manager and complete satisfactory negotiations with potential customers to maximise sales.
  • Informing customers of the latest incoming new and vehicles due to arrive
  • Progress to selling new vehicles

The successful candidate will ideally:

  • Hold a full, clean driver’s license.
  • Motor industry sales experience is essential.
  • Display a positive, outgoing personality and enjoy engaging with people.
  • Excel at understanding, anticipating, and meeting customer needs.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess excellent planning, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Be efficient, with good attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Have the ability to work on their own initiative; multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Work well as part of a team and be an effective communicator.
  • Have strong IT and administrative skills.
  • Be flexible in their approach to work.
  • Assist with our social media and marketing campaigns.
