Working within the Dealerships Service Departments, you will be responsible for recovering the cost of work covered by insurance, guarantee or warranty and for making claims from the appropriate manufacturer in line with policy. Main duties will include reviewing and assessing the validity of all claims, preparing invoices, and transmitting all supporting material to the manufacturer within specified deadlines.
To be considered for this role, it would be desirable that you will have current or recent warranty experience in a franchised main dealer environment. Previous experience in a technician or parts/stores capacity would also be beneficial. You will need to be a highly organized individual with a very good understanding of the warranty process ensuring the process is adhered to and the work is completed to the required standard.
Main responsibilities will include:
Maintaining good working relationships between customers, dealerships, and manufacturers
Scheduling warranty payments and procedures.
Following up on warranty issues.
Maintaining an up-to-date status on all requested certifications and licenses.
Acknowledging all guidelines and policies.
Answering warranty-related queries.
The ideal candidate would benefit from previous exposure to AUDI/VAG and Mercedes Benz.
Previous warranty administration experience is desirable
Previous Motor Industry experience a distinct advantage.
Process Oriented with attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proficient computer skills.
